His people were starving, magical beasts were besieging the walls, and a neighboring lord was eyeing his lands. As soon as he arrived, his steward tried to poison him.
His only golden finger was that the entire Jianwang 3 System had transmigrated with him.
With the Wandering Healer and the Skyblade's Bloodthirsty Battle Spirit, he had both talent trees at his disposal and carried the entire territory on his shoulders.
Farming, building roads, mining, constructing a city: he started developing the territory from scratch.
But the Church was marching on his lands with an army of twenty thousand, ready to burn his dragon alive and raze his city.

Players flooded in. They could respawn after dying, fought monsters without fear, and would grind for three days and nights straight just to get a rare mount.
On the day the Church's army reached the city, Aetheris stood atop the walls, with a hundred thousand "Fourth Calamity" players descending from the sky behind him.
