My name is Lin Fan, I am twenty-four years old, and I am an ordinary social animal.
If I have to say there is something different about me from others, it would be that I was born with a pair of yin and yang eyes.
For as long as I can remember, I have been able to see things that ordinary people cannot.
The huddled black shadow in the corner, the blurry figure floating by the window in the middle of the night, the people passing by in the deserted alley...
When I was a child, I didn't understand. I cried and told my parents, but what I got was scolding from adults, saying that I was dazzled and that I was talking nonsense.
Slowly, I learned to shut up, learn to pretend not to see, and learned to lower my head and walk away quickly when those things looked at me, never to look at them.
I thought that as long as I kept a low profile enough, I could live a normal life without getting in trouble with these weird things.
But I forgot that there are some things that you can't just hide if you want to.
