[A sci-fi mashup of StarCraft, Destiny, Warhammer 40K, and more] [Equal parts brains and brawn (Kids, don't be afraid, the evil gods got sent flying)] [Sci-fi]
“When civilization breaks free of its planetary cradle, the deep reaches of space become its only path forward. This is no choice, but an instinct for survival, as innate as the orbits of the stars and the breath of life.”
“The wheels of history crush doubt and fear, forging every obstacle into bones that extend civilization itself and laying a road to the stars.”
“This expedition is the greatest poem civilization has ever written for itself. Pioneers lay its foundations with their bodies, while watchkeepers become beacons in the solitude. Yet our gaze has always been fixed on the far shore of darkness. How small is the desire to conquer, and how eternal the yearning to arrive. We will unravel the whispers of black holes, encode the poems of nebulae, and, at the wounds in spacetime, seek the answer to how all things become one.”
“Until the last star becomes a story, until the warmth of civilization leaves its mark on the final fragment of the unknown, we will set forth. Not to rule over this boundless graveyard, but to fulfill a promise made by the first ancestor who looked up at the night sky: to take all the stars as our paper, the will to endure as our ink, and write with our own hands the history of a universe finally witnessed.”
“Now, the time has come.”
“We will travel through black holes. Then, we will stand above the gods and take our place among the immortals.”
This novel can be said to be a positive future in which an ideal society develops to its extreme. There may not be any bombardment of starship cannons that you want to see, and there is no so-called sacrifice that is too big to be accepted, but its values are that everyone agrees that everyone is equal.
This universe is a bit too much in front of you, but it doesn't matter, it's also very interesting.
