The God of Misfortune Is on Me, So Don't Mess with Wang Jin

The God of Misfortune has possessed Wang Jin. Don’t mess with him.

Not because he can fight, but because the God of Misfortune inside him is a real menace.

A weasel asks him to name it a deity. He says, “You look like the Thunder Ancestor,” and a bolt of lightning strikes, leaving nothing behind.

A female ghost blocks his way to scare him. He says, “The Black and White Impermanence will be on duty any moment,” and chains come flying as the ghost wails in terror.

An old man forces him to drink. Wang Jin kicks a crippled leg under the table, and all three old men tumble to the floor.

Robbers hit a savings bank. Before he can even lift a finger, one of their guns explodes.

Wang Jin lights a cigarette and asks the God of Misfortune in his head, “Who are we messing with next?”

The God of Misfortune chuckles ominously. “That’s up to you.”
