A Snily-style story, though not quite. In her previous life, the heroine grew up in an orphanage and died of an illness at the age of ten. She is transported into young Lily’s body and becomes friends with Severus Snape. This is the story of their growing up together.
This is not a healing story. It has a dark, realistic tone. Voldemort is very powerful and won’t die easily; he may even survive to the end. Neither lead is perfect, especially Severus, who will still follow Voldemort. The heroine won’t be endlessly kind, either. At first, she’ll be more focused on looking after herself. But both of them will gradually grow.
They meet by chance as children. In the Muggle world, they are “different,” and they cherish each other as the one person who makes their world special. Their friendship grows inseparable as they spend more time together. When they arrive at Hogwarts, a strange and wonderful world of magic opens before them. They throw themselves into learning magic, but the rivalries between houses and blood prejudice pull them in different directions. Caught in the storm, what choices will they make…
The world follows the original canon; any out-of-character writing is on me, and the plot won’t follow the original. This is my first story, so be warned that the writing may be rough.
