Myriad Worlds Bulletin: Homeworld Coordinates Permanently Lost

There is only one job in the Myriad Worlds that can never go unfilled: Sentinel. He died. And so everyone became a stray dog.

Li Ang transmigrated a thousand years ago and cultivated all the way to the Deity Transformation realm. All he wanted was to go home and eat a bowl of dumplings. But the Sentinel fell, Earth's coordinates were lost forever, and it turned to dust as it raced through the universe at eight hundred kilometers per second. Every teleportation array exploded, and interplanar communications went dead. The last trace of Earth's coordinates let hundreds of millions of transmigrators hear the voice of home: Li Ang's mother said, “The dumplings are getting cold.”

A thousand years of waiting, and all he got were four words: He could never go home.

Without the Sentinel, there was no way home. The Myriad Worlds had become one vast prison. If he couldn't go home, he would make the prison share his fate. Sacrificing one world offered a one-in-a-hundred-million chance of restarting time and space. If one wasn't enough, then ten. If ten weren't enough, then the entire Myriad Worlds.

With a bloodstained sword in hand, Li Ang led hundreds of millions of equally desperate strays. They slaughtered gods, destroyed worlds, and shattered stars, all to wager on that slim chance of going home. Even if nothing remained but a star that never went dark in the void, those who came after would know: someone had once fought with everything they had to go home.

The Sentinel is dead. We are all strays now. And the howls of strays will ring through the Myriad Worlds.
