Ling Xiao never imagined that an ordinary game beta test would trap him and more than thirty million other players inside the Five Elements Continent.
A cold System announcement declared: Return Mode has begun. Find the "Gate of Return" to get back to reality. There was no way back and no rescue coming, only a deadly journey across ten maps and through ten class advancements.
Setting out from Dawn Town, Ling Xiao fought and grew stronger alongside Su Xiaotang, Shen Qingci, Lu Chenzhou, and Lin Yutang. Fire, water, metal, earth, and wood: the five elements came together, and their fates intertwined.
They faced more than monsters and bosses. There were betrayals by red-name players, the Orderkeepers' encirclement, and Gu Yanzhi, the long-lost older brother Shen Qingci had not seen in three years, now transformed into the Lord of the Netherworld.
The price grew more painful each time. Su Xiaotang revived Ling Xiao at the cost of permanently losing 15% of her maximum health and her prophetic dreams. Lu Chenzhou endured the final boss's deadly blow, suffering a 10% loss to his attributes.
But they never turned back.
Because the end of the road home was their home.
Update soon😄
