The idea for this book came to me while I was waiting in line at the bank. The elder sister in front argued with the teller for ten minutes because of the limit, the uncle scolded the teller for five minutes because of the two yuan interest, and was stamped three times by the guy who swallowed the card. As I sat in the waiting area, I suddenly wanted to ask: What are those people behind the glass going through?
Later I met several friends from banks. I heard them talk about the eldest brother who deposited coins, the boss who went bankrupt after TikTok was rejected for a loan, the old couple who walked 50 minutes to get a barrel of oil, and the report letter they sent out only to receive the sentence "No problem found after verification"...
Some of those stories are funny and some are sad. So I thought, write them down.
This is not a textbook, nor is it a complaint guide. It's just a novel written in human words. If you can smile knowingly or be silent for a moment after reading it, then this book was not written in vain.
