In the late Ming Dynasty, Wei Zhongxian (a fictional character), the eunuch in charge of the Office of Ceremony, accidentally traveled to the 21st century before his death and became the chief of the secretarial section of the municipal government office. He used palace intrigues to carry out absurd and wonderful operations within the system.
