Ming Dynasty: The Sixth Prince Just Cut Ties with His Family, and the Sky Screen Reveals the Greatest of All Time

Zhu Xu transmigrates to the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty and becomes the sixth prince.

Knowing that being a prince is a high-risk profession, he deliberately tarnishes his reputation so he can go live in his fief in Jiangnan and lie flat. Then he falls victim to a scheme by Xu Miaoyun, a “female scholar” of the Ming, and faces Old Zhu’s fury and the Crown Prince’s disappointment…

Zhu Xu is overjoyed. In front of everyone, he takes off his python robe. “Since none of you believe me, I’m done being this pathetic prince!”

With a letter severing ties with his family in hand, he happily heads off to Jiangnan.

The whole world thinks the disgraced prince is living on scraps in Jiangnan. Little do they know that Zhu Xu is secretly making firearms, building steam engines, and constructing an invincible fleet, turning Jiangnan into an “Industrial Ming.” Meanwhile, he spends his days cuddling his maids, listening to music, and fishing.

Then one day, the sky shakes, a sky screen descends, and a ranking of “The Greatest Emperors in the History of Every Dynasty” is revealed!

The court officials all hail the emperor’s might, and Old Zhu beams with pride.

But the top entry on the Golden List reads:

[First Place: The Ming Dynasty’s Sixth Prince, Father of Industry and Founder of the Empire on Which the Sun Never Sets: Zhu Xu!]

Right after that, the sky screen reveals scenes of Zhu Xu’s heavy machine guns sweeping across the northern deserts and his ironclad ships crossing the sea to destroy enemy nations…

The entire Ming court is scared stiff!

Xu Miaoyun looks at Zhu Xu, who seems like a god, and regrets it so much she could kick herself!

Old Zhu goes even further, kicking down the doors of the Jiangnan palace in the middle of the night and clinging to Zhu Xu’s leg as he sobs: “Sixth Son, your father was wrong! Please come back to the palace and take the throne!”

Zhu Xu rolls his eyes. “Don’t start. I just conquered Japan, and I’m busy on my honeymoon!”
