The story takes place in the fictional 'Great Qin Legacy Era' - an era of cold weapons that superficially inherited the Qin system, but in fact buried deep the ancient burial secrets. The young Wei Wuji was originally a chicken farmer in a barren village at the foot of Lishan Mountain. After a heavy rain collapsed his nest, a bronze military talisman was dug out of the ground of the chicken coop. The talisman's pattern exactly matched the natural cocoon pattern on his palm. The military talisman ignites at the first touch, awakening the underground army of pottery figurines that have been sleeping for thousands of years, and can command the earth armor soldiers, crossbowmen figurines, chariots and horses, and even the tomb-holding generals figurines. As he quietly expanded his "terracotta army" and intervened in border wars, Wei Wuji gradually discovered that he was not the reincarnation of an ordinary person, but the only "cocoon-marked tomb-keeper" whose consciousness had not been erased in Qin Shihuang's "Living Sacrifice Plan"; and the current dynasty was systematically excavating ancient tombs and refining the souls of terracotta warriors to refine immortality pills in the name of the "Yinde Project". The main plot revolves around Wei Wuji's growth from a hidden chicken-raising boy to a co-owner of pottery figurines. While rebuilding the underground military and political system, he solved the burial conspiracy. Finally, in the "Nine Coffin Palace" at the core of the Qin Mausoleum, he faced the imperial edict of the current dynasty that had tampered with history and the rebellious first-generation figurines.
