You Asked Me to Babysit, So Why Am I Playing a Tough Blond to Stop Teen Romance?

In his previous life, Lin Xuan was so absorbed in scientific research that he neglected his daughter. A punk from the streets tricked her away, then abandoned her, and she eventually died by suicide after falling into depression.

Reborn when his daughter is in her rebellious teenage years, he happens to be approached by We Are Family, a large-scale live family reality show.

To nip any chance of his daughter being lured away by a scumbag in the bud, Lin Xuan, a tenured university professor, has an epiphany: the best way to beat a punk is to become one himself!

On the first day of filming, while other loving families make breakfast for their kids and strict families quiz them on their homework,

Lin Xuan shows up with an eye-searing shock of blond hair, riding a heavy-metal scooter and sucking on a lollipop. He kicks open his daughter’s bedroom door and shouts, “Hey, kiddo! Get up and party!”

The scene sets the whole internet ablaze!

Even more explosive, the expert guest in the control room is Lin Xuan’s younger brother, Lin Yu, a professor at another top university.

Watching the stern older brother who once knocked the blond dye right out of his hair and taught him to become a pillar of the nation now dye his own hair blond and whistle at his niece, Lin Yu’s faith collapses on the spot. He throws his head back and cries, “Bro! What happened to you, bro!”

As his younger brother and the online audience collectively lose their minds,

Lin Xuan simply smiles. “How can you build the strongest immunity without experiencing the most potent poison? Every scumbag in this world should call me their grandmaster!”
