[Showbiz + System + Wild Imagination + Comedy + Overzealous Misinterpretations + No Romance]
Lin Ci is a top student at a prestigious agricultural university. His lifelong dream is to lease a barren mountain and breed a "divine black pig" that surpasses the finest Wagyu.
But after graduation, he unexpectedly gets bound to a cross-industry agriculture System.
"Ding! Want a [super-immune black pig]? First, claim the top spot on this month's Chinese hit song chart!"
Lin Ci: "You're an agriculture System. Why are you making me break into showbiz?"
System: "Then go home and spend the rest of your life raising ordinary village pigs." With no other choice, Lin Ci reluctantly signs up for the hottest live music show.
He performs "Shake Off the Blues" onstage and brings the entire internet to tears.
But the first thing Lin Ci does after stepping offstage is frantically call someone from a backstage corner: "Right, right, Village Chief. Make sure you turn on the heat lamp in pigpen number two!"
At the Golden Melody Awards ceremony, the host chokes up with excitement. "King Lin, what kind of unforgettable love inspired your globally acclaimed hit, 'I'd Love You Even in Death'?"
Lin Ci can think only of the [fully automated, sterile pigsty fermentation bed] he just redeemed. "To be honest, it's so my Cuihua can live a better life. She's one of my sows."
Fans across the internet are moved to tears: He's so devoted! Cuihua must be the one true love of his life!
Then the crew of CCTV Agriculture's "Path to Prosperity" visits the country's largest divine black pig farm.
Viewers across the country are stunned to discover... How does that man in an old tank top, feeding pigs, look exactly like the superstar who just won a Grammy?
Lin Ci says with complete sincerity, "I swear, all I really want is to raise pigs in peace."
