Gao Mingchuan, 18 years old, comes from an "equal rights confederation" where law is the law of the world.
He is drawn into a lawless "prison game" where violence is truth and order is a joke. While others are failing in their quest for survival, he examines the game itself with legal thinking, looking for loopholes, explanations and procedural space in the cold rules.
He uses legal principles as weapons to reconstruct order in chaos, becoming what players call "rules and laws."
In the end, he discovered that the game itself seemed to be an extremely reactionary experiment in "legal principles."
