We Said We'd Make a Movie, So Why Are All the Props Black Tech?

Huo Wujiu is a military technology genius, but his tactical simulations are so “inhuman” that special forces units have blacklisted him four times. In the end, he is dumped in a backwater department called the Strategic Deception Office. Tasked with deterring foreign powers, Huo Wujiu posts a colossal lie on the dark web: [An alien fleet from Sirius has locked onto Earth and is about to launch a dimensional strike!] He even includes flight parameters so realistic they seem genuine. The world erupts in panic overnight! The White Eagle Nation’s defenses collapse, and its people flee into underground bunkers. Overseas tycoons frantically dump their assets and beg for a ticket aboard a ship. Just as the whole world is falling for his bluff… The senior officers of the Great Xia military stare at the reimbursement form Huo Wujiu has submitted for the “Nantianmen Project,” lost in thought. “We only asked you to spread fake news as a deterrent. Where did these powered exoskeletons, electromagnetic railguns, and aerospace carriers come from?” Huo Wujiu shrugs. “Since the show was already underway, I figured I’d build all the equipment too, just to make it more convincing. Makes sense, right?” By the time the White Eagle Nation realizes it was all a hoax, it looks up to find a Great Xia Star Destroyer hovering right above it!
