Cold, domineering CEO Chi Cheng is being pressured by his family to marry. He urgently needs a clean-cut, obedient, easygoing person for a contractual marriage.
After carefully selecting his target, he picks up the penniless little painter Wu Suowei. He thinks he's got an easy pushover and a reliable shield.
Who knew that once Wu moved in
The mansion would turn into a giant art studio, with paper and paint everywhere;
The forbidden snake room would be covered in adorable chibi stickers, leaving the snakes utterly bewildered;
And Wu would call him “hubby” every day, constantly chirping:
“Hubby, I'll wait for you to get off work~”
Chi thought he'd found a well-behaved tool, but instead got a dramatic little troublemaker with a natural comedy buff.
They bickered and traded barbs every day, until, without realizing it, they fell for each other.
Chi Cheng went from strictly warning, “Don't touch my snakes,”
to falling step by step into possessive obsession: “Don't touch my man.”
They agreed to pretend and keep their feelings out of it, but in the end the CEO was the first to fall, gladly letting the little rascal cling to him for life.
(Author's note: The story has gone completely off track. From here on, I'll write whatever I dream up.)
It's very good, it's pretty good, but it's not good enough. Author, can you please update it as soon as possible?
