Lin Ye awakens as an evil god on his 18th birthday and gains the ability to manipulate emotions. He plans to keep a low profile and grow stronger, only to discover that his childhood friend, the school beauty Su Qianxia, is the Holy Sword wielder chosen by the world, destined to hunt beings of evil like him.
And so the Shadow Abyss Society is founded. On the surface, it is an evil organization threatening the city; in reality, it is a tool for Lin Ye to collect emotional energy. He is the organization’s leader, an ordinary member “forced” into joining, and the childhood friend Su Qianxia believes she must protect.

Then Lin Ye secretly makes the monster hold back, while absorbing the excitement she generates in battle.
