Young Lin Chen was once the pride of his clan, but after a sudden ambush sealed his Sacred Physique, his cultivation stagnated. Reduced to a laughingstock, he was publicly dumped by his fiancée, Su Qingxue, and suffered humiliation after humiliation. At his lowest point, the ancestral black iron ring on his chest awakened, containing a wisp of the ancient soul of the “Eternal Profound Heaven Emperor.” The Emperor’s soul revealed that Lin Chen bore the “Eternal Martial Dao Sacred Physique,” cursed by the Heavenly Dao, and accepted him as a successor from another age, teaching him the supreme cultivation art, the Profound Heaven Emperor Scripture.
Just as Lin Chen struggled to resume cultivating from the bottom and swore to avenge his humiliation, he was accidentally caught up in a battle between powerful cultivators. On the brink of death, he was rescued by Yun Zhiyao, a saintess of the “Nine Heavens Profound Maiden Palace” who happened to be passing by. Yun Zhiyao possessed the “Nine-Aperture Exquisite Immortal Heart,” a chosen one destined to ascend, yet due to a backlash from her cultivation art or some ancient pact, it formed an inseverable symbiotic bond with Lin Chen’s “Eternal Martial Dao Sacred Physique.” From then on, their fates were forcibly bound together: when one prospered, so did the other, and when one suffered, so did the other.
This wildly unequal relationship became Lin Chen’s greatest golden finger and driving force. Yun Zhiyao’s immortal spiritual energy could speed up the seal’s release on Lin Chen’s Sacred Physique and boost his cultivation, while Lin Chen’s Sacred Physique and vital energy could counteract the hidden dangers in Yun Zhiyao’s cultivation art. At first, they were forced together and wary of each other. But after repeatedly joining forces against enemies, exploring secret realms, and unraveling conspiracies, they came to trust each other with their lives, and their feelings deepened. With the guidance of the Emperor’s soul, his own perseverance, and his partner’s support, Lin Chen’s cultivation soared. He first stunned everyone at the clan tournament, then swept aside his peers across the Azure Flame Domain, before making his mark on the Central Province Continent, crushing Profound Practitioners, Profound Masters, Profound Kings, and eventually reaching the realms of the Profound Emperor and Profound Sovereign.
It feels like a battle. The quality is very good. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I recommend it.
