Su Wanhe transmigrates into a period novel as a cannon-fodder female character.
In the book, both Su Wanhe and the heroine, Jiang Yu, fall for the hero, Song Jingran. The two women compete for one man, and, unsurprisingly, Su Wanhe loses.
How could a cannon-fodder character possibly beat the heroine? After Su Wanhe loses, Jiang Yu schemes to marry her off to a leper.
But who could have guessed that the leper was actually a spy? Su Wanhe accidentally catches him trading with the Japanese and is brutally murdered, her body abandoned in the wilderness. It is hard to imagine a more tragic end.
After transmigrating into the book, Su Wanhe decides to stay away from the hero and heroine, but she still cannot escape the heroine's hostility.
She has no choice but to crush the heroine, Jiang Yu. But she never expected that she would fall for the soldier she rescued in the mountains.
Since she has fallen for him, she will make the first move. He is destined to fall into her hands.
Too much effort was used to portray the heroine, making her seem very self-righteous.
