The Bright Moon Shines on the River 3696

History says Wu Yangchun was falsely accused and framed by Wei Zhongxian, but after looking through some sources, I found the matter suspicious.

History says Liu Duo died in the Imperial Prison, while Ouyang Hui threw himself into a river. Since this is a transmigration story and we have a new director, let’s redesign things.

Censor Li Shinian and his daughter, Lizhen, come from the late-Ming novel Jade Pavilion in Crimson. Their tragic fates are heartbreaking, so I’ve woven them into the story. Can you guess whose story inspired the characters I grafted in?

I made up the name Wu Naize, but not the character himself. He had a very famous daughter. Who was she? Take another guess.

Though Wei Zhongxian took a different path, in the end, he still could not escape death.

Zhu Youjian still gets to enjoy a stint as emperor, though it doesn’t last long. At least this time, his ending isn’t tragic.
