[Journey to the West spin-off / A female ghost’s pilgrimage / Project-based comedy / No romance / Lighthearted wish fulfillment]
Beneath Five Elements Mountain, Sun Wukong waited for Tang Sanzang, but instead a female ghost named Chu Renmei arrived, carrying milk tea and a package of marinated duck.
She had simply taken a wrong turn on the Underworld’s navigation system and happened to peel off the talisman.
The Ledger of Merits immediately reported an error: Pilgrim deceased, no physical body, resentment levels seriously over the limit.
But the certification had already been stamped, and the revocation system was undergoing maintenance.
So the Eighty-One Tribulations began right on schedule. Mount Ling stayed up all night dealing with the incident, the monsters followed outdated files to hunt for Tang Sanzang’s flesh, and Sun Wukong was forced back to work as an escort.
The problem was, Chu Renmei had no flesh.
Tang Sanzang had gone missing, the mission continued as usual, and another work order popped up from the Underworld.
Who had deliberately sent the wrong assignment for this journey west?
I was shocked that Journey to the West was written as a monster seeking scriptures.
I love this CP-free novel! The heroine's character really impressed me, and the plot was completely based on my preferences. The more I watch it, the more I like it.
