[System-Based] [Infinite Survival] [Management and Farming] [No Female Lead] [Cautious Protagonist]
[The global survival game has officially begun.] 7.8 billion people woke up to find themselves standing on a snowy plain in another world.
Every seven days, a new instance begins: an extreme blizzard, a deserted island of death, a city besieged by zombies, a city shrouded in fog... They take turns. Win, and you get to catch your breath in the Rest City. Lose, and you're executed on the spot, without even a body left behind.
All of humanity is trading their lives for supplies.
Chen Ye is a little different. He was an online store owner whose business had just gone bankrupt, and he entered the game saddled with a mountain of debt. To everyone else, this is a desperate situation. To him, it's a business with no competition from beginning to end: at midnight every day, the shop refreshes with six items, right on schedule. It might be stale bread, or it might be a weapon capable of slaying gods. It's all down to luck, and there are no refunds. Gradually, things start to feel a little off. In the blizzard instance, while everyone else is so cold they're chewing snow and tree bark, he sells a bag of salt for a fortune. In the Rest City, while others grit their teeth and team up to clear stages, he opens a shop and offers loans, gradually taking the whole server's supply lifeline into his hands.
By the time the Survivors' Alliance, national teams, and underground guilds all come knocking, he has already become the biggest profiteer in the game. His business keeps growing, but there's always one thing nagging at him.
This shop understands him too well. Whatever he needs, it appears on the shelves the very next day, always one step ahead of him. That's not randomness. It means someone has eyes inside his mind. Why did the game begin? Who exactly opened the shop? He hasn't figured it out yet. But that doesn't matter. He plans to turn this living hell into his own chain of stores along the way.
The novel is okay. The author writes it very rigorously, and the pace is not very fast, but the writing has a real apocalyptic feeling. It is a good novel 👍
