Hunted Across the Globe: In One Week, I'll Become a Golden Superman

My name is Li Qingquan. I’m twenty-eight, an overworked office drone. I worked myself to death, then transmigrated.

When I woke up, I discovered I’d become Homelander: I could fly, shoot lasers from my eyes, and had a body of steel. I was invincible.

Before I even had a chance to enjoy it, America set its sights on me. The Pentagon declared me a “global threat,” and the FBI, CIA, and Navy SEALs all came after me. My family was placed in “protective custody,” my friends were interrogated, and my girlfriend tearfully begged me to surrender.

I hadn’t killed anyone or broken the law. I’d even rescued seventeen children from an earthquake.

Nobody listened. F-22s chased me with bombs, a carrier strike group blocked my way, and satellites watched me around the clock. I hid in the slums for two months, eating expired hamburgers and sleeping in garbage heaps.

In the end, they cornered me at an abandoned pier.

Ten Apaches hovered overhead, three destroyers blocked the sea, and snipers occupied every high vantage point. A loudspeaker shouted in Chinese: “Li Qingquan, surrender. America guarantees your human rights.”

Covered in blood, I leaned against a shipping container and laughed.

I stood up, my eyes glowing red.

“Human rights, huh? Come on, then. I’ll discuss them with you myself.”
