Synopsis

Shen Qingwan, twenty-six, CEO of the Shen Group, has never been in a relationship.

In secret, she is the hugely popular romance writer Wan, known for her sweet love stories, even though she has never dated herself.

She thinks her fiancée, Lu Mingyou, is just a pitiful illegitimate daughter cast aside by her family.

At their engagement banquet, the girl calls her “big sister” with tear-filled eyes, looking as helpless as a puppy nobody wants.

Shen Qingwan thinks: A marriage of convenience. We’ll each live our own lives.

What she doesn’t know is that this seemingly soft and easy-to-bully young woman is her most devoted number-one fan.

And that’s not all. This engagement was also a trap Lu Mingyou carefully designed herself. The true mastermind of the Lu family has disguised herself as a discarded pawn, making sure she is “delivered” right to Shen Qingwan.

Shen Qingwan has no idea that a fox in rabbit’s clothing is slowly dragging her into the abyss.

Later, when Lu Mingyou disappears without a word, Shen Qingwan goes mad.

She drugs Lu Mingyou, locks her in shackles, and imprisons her in the bedroom. She even says, “If you run away again, I’ll kill myself.”

She goes from an untouchable CEO to a madwoman who can’t live without her.
