This is my first novel, and the writing is terrible.
Legend has it that beyond the Nine Heavens, in the boundless reaches of time and space, an ancient truth has echoed since time immemorial: "Chaos sweeps across the galaxy, twilight clouds divide the mortal world, time stands still here, and the Great Dao ends here. A leaf carries time and space; a thought leaps across eternity. Anyone who seeks to reach the summit and command the world must break free of mortal restraints and shatter the cage of fate."
To see the palm in one's hand is to be ordinary; to hold the world in one's thoughts is to transcend the divine.
Once, time and space were desolate, and all eternity lay barren. Yet the Nine Heavens remained. The myriad heavens rose and fell, chaos was nowhere to be found, yet the Nine Heavens never fell!
Beyond the Nine Heavens, in the boundless reaches of time and space and the countless worlds,
a young man takes up an ancient, legendary spirit leaf and walks the path of the sages of the Nine Heavens, continuing the unfinished myth of past and present.
