The Blade Rises in the Dust and Wastes

The youth Liu Yun came from the mortal realm, but in a single night his soul fell into another world, where he became a useless body deemed worthless by all.

Scorned and burdened by hardship, he has tasted every warmth and cruelty the world has to offer.

The world looks down on him, abandons him, and humiliates him like dust, yet he insists on standing firm in the mire, blade in hand.

He bears the remnant souls of two lifetimes and harbors an unquenchable resolve.

He seeks neither immortality nor empty fame, only to protect the faint light in his heart and walk his own path.

With blade in hand and horse beneath him, he cleaves the heavens and earth;

With hooves thundering, he shakes the Nine Provinces!

One swing of the blade stirs storms across the land;

When its edge is bared, its might shakes the mortal wilds!
