Tales of Listening to the Waves

This is my first time writing a book review, and this book is also the best book I have read in recent years. The whole book has a tight pace and some exclusive nouns, but the author's writing is very good and he can fully understand what it means. The male and female protagonists check accounts and old cases. They are both calm and smart. The female protagonist is very good at reading accounts and looking at details to make inferences. The male protagonist is the kind of person with a cold face and a warm heart. He is always considerate of the soldiers under his command and loves the two of them very much. The first meeting was an accident driven by fate, and it was also an inevitable encounter between the two backgrounds. From the time when the heroine started investigating the case to when she was appointed by the hero, the two learned about each other and trusted each other. In just a few chapters, the description of the heroine and heroine is vividly written, from the cleverness and wit of the hero and heroine to the thrill of the entire situation. Even though the two were ambiguous, they still had a more important way forward, so they kept on the road. The border was so windy and sandy, but they didn't let go of each other's hands. In the undercurrent of the capital city, the unexpected closeness and the sincere hand holding made my heart surge. What a firm and restrained feeling. Even if the situation is extremely difficult, the two people always firmly believe in each other. Smart people speak secret words and do not do secret things. In addition to the wonderful male and female protagonists themselves, every supporting role is very moving. Xiao Yinchuan silently guards outside the door. As the master of the pavilion, he gives everything to the heroine at a critical moment, protects the heroine, and leaves a way out for the heroine when they part. Fei Zhaoan, because of a tampered verdict, tries his best to make up for it. To make up for his past regrets, he said he wanted power, and he said he was afraid of becoming the second Cui Xuando; Xue Chen, a bold, careful, resolute and sincere frontier soldier, who, like the male protagonist, cherished his soldiers and stood firm on the ground beneath his feet; and the male protagonist had two personal guards, one was a big man but rough, the other was delicate and gentle... The author must keep writing. I will support the author in every book. The writing is really great. I beg the author to write some extras. I really want to read Tinglan Lu, but I don't dare to finish it. It's so good😭😭😭 Dear author, can you write some daily extras for the male and female protagonists for us to read? 😢😢 They are too bitter and want to watch sweet extras 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

After reading it, I was speechless for a long time. Few people have read this novel, and it doesn't even show a rating, but I would like to call it a serious, purely literary novel. The text is simple and accurate, the plot is gripping, the plot is full of intrigue, and the plot is fascinating; the characters are vivid, and the pace is tight and not procrastinating; the images of snow and fire appear repeatedly, which not only enhances the atmosphere of the plot, but also creates the temperament and tone of the whole book. In the age of fast food, cool writing and hydrology are very popular. I am very happy to know that there are still authors who are willing to calm down and polish their writing skills and patiently tell a touching and pathos story. At the same time, it is also a great pity for the author. In the age of fast food, few people have the patience to read a pure literature. Therefore, this novel is destined to not have a wide audience and will only be accepted by a small group of niche readers. As a senior novel lover, I personally hope that the author can keep writing, but I also know that the author is also an ordinary person who needs to care about tea, rice, oil and salt, so I have no reason to ask the author for anything. I only hope that he can do what he likes to do and write the articles he wants to write. (PS: Forgive me for not understanding the comment mechanism of the site. I wanted to post a comment, but it turned into a discussion, but what I want to say is the same.)

It's so beautiful. This kind of writing technique that uses small things to see big things is now rare. It's really addictive. The detailed description and camera sense have the shadow of Western classical novels, but the narrative has a rough and gray line and the artistic conception is the pure essence of Chinese classical literature. The plain dialogue and every small detail hides the turmoil in the court spanning more than ten years. After peeling off the cocoons, the true story is finally revealed. On paper, the narrative seems concise, but behind the scenes, there are thrilling scenes of sword lights and sword shadows, one by one, it is so exciting. The characters are all three-dimensional, and none of them are simple. There is no blood, but there is ice, fire, and smoke everywhere. Caring for the family, country and the world and cherishing the lives of every ordinary soldier and civilian have also become the ethical and moral background of the author's words. Boiled cabbage is a rare dish in fast food literature and is worth savoring. I expect every work of the author to be so weighty.

Why are really good articles always read by so few people on Tomato, and their ratings are lower than those of bad articles? Suddenly I understood why no one reads good books, because as an old saying goes, the taste of tomatoes is sweet, pampering, palace fighting, house fighting, and female competition, and must be refreshing and enjoyable. But to tell a story well, emotional drama is unlikely to be everything, and true love is not about lust, but two-way redemption, two-way running, and working in the same direction because you have the same three views. All of this requires a process, and only readers who can endure it can appreciate the beauty of this process. Thank you author!

The plot is very smooth, the protagonist's characterization is solid, and the characters are quite attractive. The whole book also feels a bit like a group portrait to me. The previous part about the heroine's accounting is a bit unclear (mainly because of my limited brain power, hahahahaha). But it can be seen that the author has prepared this part of literary and historical knowledge very carefully. Judging from the writing, I can feel that the writing becomes smoother and smoother later on. The most amazing thing is that the plot always keeps me hooked. I think this is really rare. When I see many plots, I feel anxious, nervous, angry, and intolerable. Unfortunately... The ups and downs of the plot really capture my heart. The most immersive part for me, and the two parts that I personally think are the best, are the description of the heroine analyzing the ledger and performing tasks, and the description of the battlefield. These two lines of seeking justice between the two protagonists are very touching. Awesome! Looking forward to seeing more works from the author~ PS: I narrowly feel that the only shortcoming is the expression in the writing process. Sometimes I feel that the author wants to create a sense of suspense or seeing flowers in the smoke, but the words of those expressions are a bit repetitive, and it feels like they are deliberately trying to emphasize those so-called wrong places. When I read it personally, it seems that those points do not have the sense of mystery. There is also an expression that the author uses repeatedly in character dialogues. It should be the heroine's lines. She always says... Anyway, there is a little repetition, but it is harmless.

Oh my god, this is the best Machiavellian article I have ever read. There is not a single bad word in it, it is all wonderful. It's a pity that my brain capacity is limited and I can't quite understand many of the meanings in it, but that doesn't prevent this from being a good article. If the full score is 100, this article deserves 100+20. It's a bit like "The Ming Dynasty under the Microscope", I think it's called this. I don't quite understand it, but knowing the big picture, those small details that I don't quite understand are not so important. The emotions in it are all very obscure. For example, no matter how I look at the pavilion master, I feel that he should like the heroine, but the deepest love is to help you live the life you want. If you are not satisfied, I am still willing to accept you. Jiang Zi, be sure to give it a high rating and look forward to more good articles from the author.

This is one of the few books that I can't wait to give five stars to before I finish reading it. There was no hatred or hostility at the beginning. Everyone moved forward step by step in a calm and silent manner, yet full of murderous intent. The plot is heart-wrenching, every step is planned, every step is shocking, and the opponents are back and forth. I don't want to put it down. I just want to write more.

No procrastination, no redundant words, all linked together, just like what is written in the book, there is a source and a place to come from, and finally the loop is perfectly closed. Thank you to the author for contributing a good article. If this novel is made into a TV series, it will be like Nirvana in Fire, a masterpiece and a hit!

A very good Machiavellian novel, with no rebirth or golden fingers. Human desires are chilling, and the war scenes are heartbreaking and exciting. It's a pity that the heat is lower

The best book I have read recently! The full text is compact, logically fluent, and the rhythm of the plot is well controlled. The author's writing skills are fully demonstrated in the details. The foreshadowing and character dynamics are neatly wrapped up, breaking out of the stereotyped revenge framework of ancient puppets. Readers who prefer this kind of narrative with hidden foreshadowing and snake-like plots will definitely like it. Highly recommend 🥰🥰🥰! The heroine has a tolerant nature, and she plans everything before taking action. She is working hard to clear up the family tragedy fifteen years ago. The most outstanding thread of the book is that she dug into a large number of account books that were both true and false. From the accounts that were burned to only fragments and thousands of real numbers, she dug out the lives that were wasted and the food supplies that disappeared out of thin air. She uncovered the monstrous truth hidden in an unnoticed corner and covered up with only a few tampered words. The passages of textual research and reasoning are very enjoyable to read. There are very few straightforward inner monologues of the characters in the article, but it still allows readers to truly sympathize with the heroine's tenacity and sobriety, and her decisiveness and transparency in setting things right. The author did not deliberately exaggerate the protagonist's past sufferings, but the depressing situation and restricted action route throughout the early part of the story are enough to give a glimpse of the heroine's ups and downs along the way; the long-term pain has long made her accustomed to it, so she is fearless and desperate. The male characters' personalities and positions in the article are clearly divided and three-dimensional: there are sharp knives under the authority of the temple, and there are spies hiding in the depths of the rivers and lakes. In hundreds of thousands of words, the awakening, guilt, loneliness, determination, and anger of the supporting characters are vividly depicted. The hard-working laborer saw the scene where Zhou Heng spent all night looking through the account books, and sympathized with him. I would like to raise my expectations. I hope that the author can further refine this novel, improve the character dialogue (the early character dialogue is a bit dry, and the information density is very high) and some unwritten lines, or add some warm characters or melons who enjoy hardships to adjust the overall depressive narrative atmosphere. I look forward to the author's subsequent more complete and brilliant works! 🤩🤩🤩
