Lu Chi is the undisputed king of his high school. His three greatest loves in life are table tennis, CS2, and stubbornly holding on to last place.
The new transfer student, Gu Yan, is cool and quiet, so broke he can barely scrape by, and somehow better than Lu Chi at absolutely everything.
Gu Yan beats him at table tennis with an unconventional style despite Lu Chi's formal training, then crushes him in CS2 as a stand-in player. Even the face Lu Chi can't stand is ridiculously handsome.
Lu Chi is furious. He tries everything he can think of: picking fights, provoking him, and stirring up trouble.
But then he injures Gu Yan's leg and has to shamelessly become his chauffeur.
Once Gu Yan's leg heals, Lu Chi goes right back to provoking him. "The school team. You in? There's prize money."
Gu Yan glances at him. "Are you asking me?"
Lu Chi bristles. "I'm telling you!"
Later, while tutoring Gu Yan, Lu Chi stares at his profile and zones out. Damn, this pretty boy really is handsome.
