Please Smile for Me for the Rest of Your Life

[Dual male leads + big bear + gym owner] The 350-pound gym owner is diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. There isn’t enough time left for him to lose weight, but there is just enough time to love someone one last time. Xiong Yue never thought he’d had a hard life. He grew up in an orphanage, was called a “fat waste” for twenty years, and still trained one punch at a time until he could squat 200 kilos. He opened his own gym and even started dating a 280-pound veterinarian. They weren’t rich, but someone was waiting for him at home, and a dog wagged its tail at the door. That was enough. Until one morning, the iron-tough fat guy collapsed on the floor of his own gym. Terminal pancreatic cancer. Three months, maybe less. Xiong Yue didn’t cry or complain. He did something everyone thought was crazy: he signed a discharge form, withdrew all his savings, and took Fu Xiaobei on a thirteen-day bucket-list trip. Changsha’s stinky tofu, Chengdu’s hot pot, the Erhai Lake in Dali, the beaches of Sanya… He used the time he had left to make up for three years of missing romance, all at once. On the thirteenth day, he closed his eyes in Fu Xiaobei’s arms, a smile still on his lips. Fu Xiaobei’s world collapsed. A man who couldn’t even change a lightbulb picked himself up from the ruins. A year later, he built an animal rescue shelter with his own hands, taking in his first dog and naming it “Little Bear.” For the next ten years, he lived the days Xiong Yue hadn’t been able to, making them bright and full of life.
