The Whole Internet Hated Me, Now the Nation Wants Me to Build Mecha

Synopsis:

The Black Moon appears, and the eerie mists return. Modern technology is reduced to scrap under the erosion of chaos.

In an age when human lives are as worthless as grass, Chen Wang sits up in his own grave.

He discovers that not only did his own uncle bury him alive as a sacrifice, but a sinister "Nuo God Temple" has also appeared in his mind. As long as he wears a wooden Nuo mask, he can transform into a deity from Chinese mythology.

As the high walls crumble and the eerie hordes bear down,

Chen Wang stands atop the ruins, wearing a wooden mask that seems to smile and weep, dressed in a bright red ritual robe. Behind him, ghost soldiers march along the road, and a hundred ghosts roam the night.

"Everyone, the auspicious hour has arrived. It's time to be on your way."

The instruments at the Night-Watchers' headquarters sound alarms in a frenzy: "Warning! A mythic-level calamity has descended!"

Chen Wang: "Don't panic. I'm really not the source of the supernatural disaster. I'm just a Nuo opera performer."
