[Puppeteer] [Ensemble Cast] [Feel-Good Power Fantasy] [Redemption] [Secret Identity Revealed] [Fantasy]
Zhuang Baiyi is a puppeteer and an heir to the art of glove puppetry. She only wanted to live an ordinary life, sleeping through class and coming last in exams. But her secret identity was exposed faster than she could sit the college entrance exam.
After stumbling into the world of puppeteers, she discovered that none of her teammates were normal.
One neurotic senior had dug up her sister's grave and declared in front of the whole school that he would take her out in one move.
One attention-seeking guy, starved of affection since childhood and proving his worth by acting like a dog for rich girls, gazed at her with puppy eyes and begged her to like him.
One cold-faced little girl who looked like a loli ate like she was starving every day and gave people the cold shoulder if they did not give her snacks.
Zhuang Baiyi herself was no saint, either.
People called her Jia Xu reincarnated, a fan of underhanded tactics. This woman could exploit the loopholes in the rules in every way imaginable, even driving her opponents' scores into the negatives.
The four of them formed a puppeteer team.
...Well, it seemed like they would have to add a lot more people later.
But that was fine. The more, the livelier.
There was only one main goal: find her missing grandmother and uncover the secrets behind glove puppetry.
"Today, I shall repay old debts with the years I have left, and cleanse my ancestors' sins." Those words were written in the family's ancestral journal.
The young puppeteer's growth plan officially began.
"I think I'm slowly starting to enjoy puppet battles... Come on, let's battle!"
