Rebellion in Journey to the West: I’ll Make Every God and Buddha in Heaven Tremble

Who holds the pieces in the order of the Three Realms, and who is merely a pawn?

The Tathagata subdued Wukong with a single palm, while the Jade Emperor settled the fate of the world with one decree.

Everyone said that the heavenly order could not be defied, and fate could not be changed.

Until that young man appeared

He came from the mortal world, yet meant to smash the memorial tablets of every god and Buddha in the heavens.

He was empty-handed, yet shook Spirit Mountain and made the Hall of Miraculous Mist tremble.

He said: If the gods and Buddhas truly have compassion, why are the mortal world’s roads strewn with bones?

He said: If the heavenly order is truly fair, why are some born gods while others are slaves for generations?

When the young man shouldered the destiny of humanity, when the light of science illuminated the dark corners of Spirit Mountain, when even the heavenly order was forced to change its rules

At last, the gods and Buddhas of the heavens could no longer sit still.

But so what?

They sent heavenly soldiers and generals, and he shattered them with one punch.

They summoned gods and Buddhas from every realm, and he cut them down with a single sword.

They invoked the rules of the heavenly order, and he burned the Book of Heaven to ashes.

He said: Anyone who stands in my way, god or Buddha, will die.

He said: There is only one truth under heaven and earth: the human race decides its own fate.
