Three Kingdoms: The Son of the Governor of Youbeiping Gets Out of Prison

With a bowl of barley rice in front of him, Liu Xin swallowed hard, grabbed a handful, and stuffed it into his mouth. He opened his eyes and found himself in the Three Kingdoms era, not the Ming dynasty, but the fourth year of Zhongping, 187 AD. The original owner of this body was the son of Liu Zheng, governor of Youzhou’s Youbeiping commandery. His father had offended Gongsun Du, governor of Liaodong, and fled at top speed, leaving his son behind in prison. A jailer came over, jingled the keys, and told him to get out. Outside the prison stood a burly man in his twenties with a bow and arrows on his back: Taishi Ci of Donglai, Beihai. Sent by Master Bing, he had come to take Liu Xin back to Youbeiping. Liu Xin was so excited, like a fan who’d just met his idol.
