The Imperial Exams: With a Body Like Mine, You Expect Me to Become Top Scholar?

[For male readers + imperial examinations and political rivalry + born with divine strength + extreme contrast + showing off and face-slapping + overwhelming intelligence]

Zhao Qingtian, a master of traditional martial arts and a business tycoon, opened his eyes to find himself reborn in a famine-stricken year in an alternate ancient dynasty, as the son of a hunter who could barely keep food on the table.

The good news: He was born with divine strength, stood eight feet tall, and was so powerfully built that one punch could kill a wild boar!

The bad news: This was an era in which everything else was deemed inferior, and only scholarship was held in high regard.

Looking at the bare walls of their home and his hungry younger siblings, Zhao Qingtian made up his mind: First hunt for food, then study for the imperial examinations!

At the county examination, the examiner stared at Zhao Qingtian, who looked like a giant bear made of iron, and dropped his brush in fright. “With a build like that, why not become a bandit instead of taking the imperial exams?”

But when Zhao Qingtian wrote with the skill of a god, stunned the world with his poetry, swept the examinations, and amazed the emperor with his palace examination essay, the entire realm went mad!

Civil officials: Please, stop writing poetry! You've face-slapped us scholars so hard our faces are swollen!

Generals: Please come be a great general! You can smash a city gate with one punch, so why become a civil official?

As chaos descended and foreign tribes invaded from the south, the entire court was powerless to respond.

Dressed in his top scholar's robes, Zhao Qingtian quietly tore open his scholar's robe, revealing a body rippling with muscle, and lifted an eight-hundred-jin cauldron. “Since reason won't get through to them, it seems I'll have to show them a little of what my fists can do!”
