When Bai Xue wakes up, she has become a rebellious, delinquent-style supporting female character.
She looks at herself in the mirror: an outlandish hairstyle and outfit, makeup that makes her look more monster than human. One more second of looking and her eyes might burn.
In the original story, Bai Xue is shallow, vain, obsessed with appearances, and loves to show off. She is the biological daughter who was switched at birth. She finds Shen Qingzhou, a male supporting character with amnesia, and torments him every day, leaving him riddled with illness. Later, Bai Xue is taken back by her family and abandons Shen Qingzhou. When they meet again, he has recovered his memories and become ruthless. He turns the very methods Bai Xue once used against him on her.
In the original story, Shen Qingzhou is repressed, obsessive, vengeful, and devoted exclusively to the heroine.
After arriving in the story, Bai Xue looks at the amnesiac Shen Qingzhou and sees a timid puppy afraid of being abandoned.
Then she looks at Shen Qingzhou after he regains his memories and sees a fierce wolfdog afraid of losing her.

Bai Xue doesn’t want to be locked up, nor does she want her family to take her back. She decides to cherish him like her most precious treasure, then fake her death once he regains his memories and marries his fiancée.
Later, Shen Qingci finds Bai Xue and holds her close, kissing her. “Baby, you said all I have to do to cheer you up is hug and kiss you.”
