After losing his job, Chen Mo returns home and takes over a dilapidated reservoir. To his surprise, he awakens the “Fishing Across the Myriad Worlds System.”
All he has to do is amaze fishing enthusiasts to draw creatures from myriad worlds into the reservoir, and even redeem cutting-edge technology!
And so, everything goes completely off the rails:
Other people fish with bait. Chen Mo's fish eat spicy snack sticks, drink cola, and even need heavy metal rock to bite;
The reservoir is full of arapaimas, socially awkward cutlassfish, and food-loving koi that understand human speech;
The fishing enthusiasts go all out to catch them, bringing sonar and underwater drones!
Zhao Gang, veteran fishing enthusiast: “Who else gets it, folks? Yesterday, I used rebar to wrestle a fish, and it complained that my rod was too stiff, then threw me over its shoulder!”
Zhao Bosheng, top professor: “That fish even used its whiskers to make a pun mocking my lack of taste?”
