The Secret Treasures of the Tea-Horse Road

When the female lead, an antiques restorer, receives a package from her grandfather containing an ancient tea bowl, a fragmentary manuscript, and a massive trap disguised as a “livestream treasure hunt,” her fate becomes irrevocably bound to a century-old chapter of history buried along the Tea Horse Road. Her grandfather’s warehouse is filled with antiques, but no one knows the true value of that “junk” until a “livestream treasure hunt” show comes knocking, claiming it wants to authenticate and appraise the collection. Antique appraiser Gu Xinghe realizes this is not merely a battle to defend her family’s reputation, but a hunt planned long in advance. What she doesn’t know is that the user “Descendant of the Tea Horse Road,” who mocks her in the comments, is her colleague and nemesis, Lin Yanzhou. Wearing a horse mask and hiding behind his phone screen, he both sets traps for her and saves her. Forced to join forces and embark on the Sichuan-Tibet Tea Horse Road, the two discover that what her grandfather protected was more than a secret: it was a national treasure curse capable of reshaping the field of cultural research.
