Shen Sangning transmigrates into the despised cannon-fodder real heiress of a marquis’s household. Her whole family dotes on the fake heiress and even forces her to marry in place of someone else, to the brutal Prince Regent.
She couldn’t care less. She’s bound to a gossip System and plans to save up money and run away.
Facing her biased father, she pretends to wipe away tears, while thinking: [Dad, the fake heiress is the daughter of your mortal enemy! The mistress you’re keeping in the storeroom is using your money to support a pretty boy!]
Her father spits blood on the spot and raids his mistress’s home that very night.
Facing her aloof, self-righteous older brother, she thinks: [How tragic! The fiancée you treasure has been sneaking around with the Second Prince for ages, and she’s going to poison you tomorrow!]
Her brother is horrified and immediately has his fiancée thrown into prison.
Later, Shen Sangning realizes something is wrong.
Weren’t they all supposed to be wiped out? Why is the whole family kneeling and begging her to forgive them?
And wasn’t the Prince Regent supposed to be cruel and ruthless? Why does he hold her in his arms every day, eyes red, begging her: “Ningning, what’s the latest gossip from the palace? Hurry and tell me!”
Personally, I think it's okay. Five stars encourage me and I look forward to the next book.
I like this book very much. The plot is exciting and worth reading. It's very funny.
So the heroine is a princess [what]
Author, they are not uncles and nephews, why does the regent call the emperor his brother?
