“Hello. Your mission is to increase a girl’s luck value.”
Si Yan is a fortune-bringing cat god who can see the luck value above people’s heads. As long as he stays by someone’s side, their luck value rises.
Now that he’s received a mission, he’s a little confused. “What’s in it for me?”
“You’ll find out when the time comes.”
Si Yan reluctantly accepts the mission, turns into a cat, and finds the girl he’s supposed to help, Xia Zhi. At first sight, he’s stunned by the luck value above her head.
“-100!!!” He’s never seen anyone this unlucky!
To complete his mission, Si Yan sticks close to Xia Zhi and lets her keep him at home, until the luck value above his head starts rising.
When Xia Zhi’s luck value reaches 0, the System’s cold prompt rings out.
“Ding! Luck value has exceeded 0. Congratulations, you’ve gained the ‘Speak Human Language’ skill.”
Si Yan, who could only meow until now, can finally talk!
Xia Zhi is badly startled when she discovers that the cat she adopted can speak. But she has no idea the bigger shock is yet to come.
“Ding! Luck value has exceeded 50. Congratulations, you’ve gained the ‘Human Form’ skill.”
Xia Zhi thinks that her cat can only talk. Having one more... well, one more talking cat around the house doesn’t seem so bad. Until one day, she comes home and discovers that the adorable little cat she has there has turned into a man!
The cat she raised to be plump and well-fed has become an impossibly handsome man dressed all in black. Xia Zhi can’t help asking,
“How did you end up like this?”
Si Yan is stunned. He changed himself to match her ideal type!!!
