A modern-day workaholic suddenly dies from overwork. When she opens her eyes, she has become Lin Wanxing, the "simple-minded girl" of Hongqi Village in 1980! Her birth parents died when she was young, and her mean-spirited aunt, Wang Cuihua, treats her like a free beast of burden. She never gets enough to eat or wear, and is beaten and scolded every day. In the end, she is abused into unconsciousness, allowing the newcomer to take over her body.
Just as Wang Cuihua is pulling her hair and smashing her head, leaving her on the verge of despair, the [Koi Lucky Star Farming System] suddenly binds itself to her! The starter benefits are loaded: all-purpose farm fertilizer, high-yield seeds, stamina-restoring pills, and a beginner Koi Possession skill that turns danger into good fortune and makes enemies suffer the consequences of their own actions!
Once a pushover anyone could bully, she transforms into a formidable powerhouse with an overwhelming aura! She yanks Wang Cuihua's hair, kicks her uncle Lin Jianjun, and takes back the family property they had seized, humiliating her mean-spirited relatives beyond repair. With the System, she can grow anything she plants, piling up mountains of high-yield vegetables and easily earning her first fortune. With her koi luck on her side, she finds ration coupons whenever she goes out, meets benefactors whenever trouble arises, and even stumbles into great fortune just by walking!
The villagers go from mocking and looking down on her to scrambling to curry favor, while everyone who once bullied her regrets it. With the System, Lin Wanxing grows crops, builds her wealth and business, puts up a new house, and makes a fortune, becoming the most admired person in all of Hongqi Village!
Reborn in the 1980s, she wields a koi System, tramples her mean-spirited relatives, and gets rich through farming. This is all about a thoroughly satisfying comeback and nonstop laughs, as you watch a simple-minded girl rise to become the lucky star everyone envies!
