Beasts Are Where: A Different Ending

Lin Mo spent ten years following There Are Beasts, crying herself to sleep over every character's tragic fate. Carrying her determination to right every regret, she transmigrated into an ancient qilin, the eldest of her kind and the purest-blooded of the primordial spirit qilin.

She slept for a hundred thousand years amid the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms on Gaotu Mountain. Her cultivation was unfathomably deep, yet she had never dreamed of ruling heaven and earth. She was simply waiting for one child to be born, so she could bring two others home.

From then on, Qilin Cave was no longer home to a single lonely little figure. Three fluffy little ones could climb trees together to pick osmanthus blossoms, munch on spirit fruit, and gaze at the stars from the mountaintop. Lin Mo would stand behind them, shielding them from every storm.

The ancient days passed slowly and gently. This time, there would be no painful partings, no betrayal or sacrifice, only a family that would stay together forever.
