Yan Jiu, a max-level ability user from the apocalypse, transmigrates into the body of a destitute butcher and outdoor cook on the outskirts of the Old Nine Gates. To repay the original owner's loan shark debt, he takes a job cooking for tomb raiders on a tomb-diving expedition. As luck would have it, he runs into Er Yuehong, trapped in a huge tomb beneath a mine. Just as Er Yuehong is about to be badly wounded by a red-haired zongzi, Yan Jiu impatiently leaps into the fray with a pair of bone cleavers and slices the monster into pieces in no time. The scene not only saves Second Master's life, but also makes his heart skip a beat. Afterward, Yan Jiu forcefully enters Er Yuehong's life, protecting him with overwhelming violence and caring for him with utmost tenderness.
One request, be kind to the second master, the eighth master is mine.
