In 2026, thousands of “dimensional rifts” appeared around the world at once, as higher-dimensional space collapsed into the three-dimensional world. The rifts released three things:
Dimensional fragments: Crystals containing higher-dimensional energy. After absorbing them, humans gain the ability to control the laws of dimensions.
Dimensional beasts: Creatures that fell from higher-dimensional space, their forms distorted and uncanny after being projected into three dimensions.
Collapse zones: Areas where the laws of physics have been eroded by higher dimensions, with reversed gravity, temporal anomalies, and folded space.
The protagonist, Shen Yuan, is a 24-year-old physics graduate student before the apocalypse. He wants to survive, grow stronger, and uncover the truth behind the dimensional collapse. But each layer of the truth is more suffocating than the last.
