The Heavenly Dao Says I’m Cannon Fodder? I’m Laughing

Nanfang Yunzhi was incredibly powerful for the first seventeen years of her life. She could be called stronger than any other prodigy.

Born into a top-tier family, with a heaven-grade spiritual root, she was the greatest sword prodigy in Beiyu, with greater insight than the Sword Immortal of old.

There were three thousand paths to the Great Dao and eighteen cultivation realms in all. At seventeen, she had reached the tenth realm.

A classic beauty-and-strength heroine, with no tragic backstory.

Then, during a training expedition, she trusted the wrong person and had her spiritual root and core destroyed. The tragedy she'd avoided for seventeen years finally caught up with her.

Rumors spread that she was a spoiled, domineering heiress, a real young miss.

Nanfang Yunzhi, who only wanted to focus on cultivation: ?

In her previous life, she had been an orphan, unloved by both parents and abandoned at birth. She'd raised herself, then died from overwork after staying up all night writing, only to end up in this cultivation world.

The Heavenly Dao told her that this world was actually a male-oriented novel, and the identity she'd taken over belonged to an important female supporting character.

They wanted to kill her and replace her soul with another to force the plot back on track.

Nanfang Yunzhi: Heh.

The great sects that had only received a few brief mentions in the original were full of prodigies among prodigies. (Bullshit!) What a bunch of absolute oddballs.

Ensemble cast, no CP, no BL. The heroine is scheming and ruthless toward herself, and even harsher toward her enemies. Check the first chapter for content warnings. Plot-focused, with many female rivals and villains. I like writing women in all their variety.

In a word: Go crazy if you want to succeed, and don't take anything to heart. A long, satisfying power fantasy.
