[The male lead brings the female lead wealth | Broke artist x lucky-cat white moonlight]
As a genuinely broke artist who couldn’t scrape together two coins from her wallet, Nie Wushuang was always bouncing between living paycheck to paycheck and falling into debt as she took commissions.
After a small windfall, she brought home a black kitten and named it Wangcai.
Wangcai was a total mood swing: one moment it wanted kisses, cuddles, and to be held up high; the next, it wouldn’t let her touch, kiss, or hold it.
Nie Wushuang: “That’s just how cats are. You have to coax them by saying you’ll hold, kiss, and pet them for the rest of your life.”
Wangcai was picky. It would only eat the best cat food and use the most expensive things.
Nie Wushuang: “That’s just how cats are. Once you bring one home, you have to take responsibility for it.”
Wangcai was clever. It could scale walls and leap across rooftops, call for help, type on a keyboard, and even… help police officers solve cases?
Nie Wushuang: “I thought spirits weren’t allowed to become monsters after the founding of the country?!”

After witnessing the miraculous cat cop countless times, Nie Wushuang chose to log on rather than report it or hang herself.
She logged on to record the miraculous cat’s daily life.
Later, pet vlogs became popular.
The comic strips she drew about her kitty went viral online, and she made money hand over fist.
She went from feeding her kitty to making a living off it.
Wangcai really did become her lucky cat!

One day after Wangcai left, a friend took Nie Wushuang to a cat cafe.
After petting the cats for a while, she noticed a broad-shouldered, long-legged man with a commanding air staring at her. He was none other than the man she had secretly loved for years, though they had barely interacted.
Nie Wushuang figured he probably didn’t know who she was, so she pretended not to recognize him.
But as they passed each other, she heard him grit out, “Didn’t you say you only liked me?”
“Liar!”
Nie Wushuang: “?”
Wait, what?
Do we know each other?
The storyline is very interesting, I like kittens 🥰
