In the final years of the Qing dynasty, war raged everywhere. Amid the chaos of a remote and desolate age, a divine man appeared, wandering the world. Later generations worshiped him as Santu Daojun.
Santu Daojun was originally named Jiang Zhengyang. After mastering the Sanqing Divination Technique from the Sanqing Book, he glimpsed the Great Dao of the heavens and discovered something unreasonable within the Heavenly Dao. As his cultivation grew stronger, he realized that the Sanqing Book contained more than just Sanqing Divination. The three strange books passed down through the world, Sanqing Divination, Sanqing Qimen, and Sanqing Talismans, were only the Earth Scrolls of the Sanqing Book. There were another three scrolls, known as the Heavenly Scrolls: the Sanqing Spirit-Summoning Art, the Sanqing God-Slaying Art, and the Sanqing God-Sealing Art.
A hundred years later, one of the three arts from the upper volume of the Sanqing Book fell into my hands. And because I learned one of its arts, a series of bizarre and fantastical events unfolded, allowing people to understand certain truths about the ordained workings of the Heavenly Dao.
