My Shop Is So Incredible, Underworld Bigwigs Line Up to Sign Contracts

[Mystical shopkeeping, nonhuman business management, hilarious ghost hunting, no romance, episodic stories]

Chu Yue, the strongest heir of Maoshan, comes down from the mountain and inherits a rundown inn located at the boundary between the living and the dead: the Peace Hotel.

The living are afraid to enter, and the dead can't leave. In this haunted house where ghosts can show up at any moment, Chu Yue begins her career as a capitalist, putting evil spirits to work as laborers.

Feng shui, sending souls on to reincarnation, resolving obsessions: no matter how vicious the ghosts and monsters are, they'll have to work obediently at the inn to pay off their debts.

“Boss, the ceiling in my room keeps dripping. It's really affecting my sleep!”

Chu Yue: “That's a drowned water ghost crying. Go drag him down and have him mop the lobby floor to cover his room charge.”

“Boss, the guest next door keeps bouncing a ball in the middle of the night. It's so noisy!”

Chu Yue: “That's not a ball he's bouncing, it's his own head. Go borrow it and use it as an ornament for the stone lion in our courtyard.”

“Boss, there's a lunatic in a dragon robe burning paper money in the first-floor lobby and saying he wants to book the whole place!”

Chu Yue: “He's no lunatic. He's the biggest underworld banknote issuer down there. Hurry and get the card reader. If we land this deal, we won't have to worry about food or drink for a whole year!”

Later, the rundown inn becomes the hottest resort in both the world of the living and the underworld. Countless masters of the mystic arts and underworld magistrates wave their cash around, hoping to spend just one night there.
