The Gossip Backfires Spectacularly: I Teach the CEO to Pursue Me

I was browsing an anonymous forum for gossip and showing a pure-love poster exactly how to steal his buddy’s girl, only to discover that the big-eyed cutie he was after was me! He Jing, the aloof young heir of the capital’s elite, mistakenly thinks his best friend is cheating. Deciding to stop playing nice, he posts online asking how to steal his friend’s impossibly adorable wife and spoil her rotten. As the forum’s cyber Cupid, I not only urge him to “forget your conscience and go for it,” but also teach him to use his sponsor status to swoop in and get her WeChat, and even tell him to work on his abs and post selfies to show off his charm! Then an exclusive sponsorship worth 420,000 yuan lands in our club’s account, and the aloof, domineering CEO barges into my life wearing a green hard-hat meme, waiting for me beneath my building late at night with pleading eyes. When all the misunderstandings are cleared up, I discover that the “scumbag” is actually my doting older brother, and the heroine I taught him to pursue is me! Staring at the ab photo on my phone screen, how am I supposed to tell this jealous, blood-in-his-eyes CEO that I’m single and have never been engaged?
