In the future, Blue Star never experiences a technological explosion. Instead, the bizarre Tian Gui Star arrives, and overnight the world plunges into a strange game. A countdown ticks on the backs of players' hands. When it hits zero, they are dragged into terrifying games where survival is all but impossible.
You Xiaoyi, an unemployed man, is thrown into a desperate situation from the start. But he soon discovers that his game is a little different: clearing a game can trigger unbelievable hidden bonuses!
While everyone else struggles to earn basic rewards, his experience, points, and stat boosts double and soar!
While others lament their failed awakenings, his bonus system hands him lightning powers and a weapon that grows stronger over time!
“Play it safe and build up when you're weak. Go all out when you're strong.” That's his motto.
And so, among the players of the strange game, a legend begins to spread under the codename “Dawn.” He moves between post-apocalyptic ruins and uncanny games, using bad jokes to fight fear and overwhelming force to tear injustice apart. His path is strewn with thorns and blood, from the vengeful nurse in an abandoned hospital ward to the bloodthirsty monsters lurking in real-world tunnels.
First game: The Silent Apartment Building. There is one extra person among you. Find them, or everyone will be erased.
Second game: Abandoned Ward 7. A solo game. Survive for 48 hours to clear it.
And so the protagonist clears one game after another, then returns to reality to battle the monsters.
