[Urban+Sweet romance+Money-grubber+Funny+Both leads are each other’s only one]

Su You is a notorious money-grubber. Her motto in life: The only cure for sorrow is getting rich!

For a monthly fee of 100,000 yuan to “pretend to be his wife,” she decisively enters a flash marriage with Gu Tingye, a down-on-his-luck CEO rumored to be on the verge of bankruptcy.

After the wedding, Gu Tingye realizes there’s something off about his darling wife.

Isn’t she supposed to be a pampered heiress? Why is she at home every day collecting recyclables to sell?

To take advantage of a supermarket promotion, she drags him into a three-hour queue just to get two eggs!

She even collects the water he uses to shower so she can flush the toilet with it!

Gu Tingye grits his teeth. “Su You, are you really that short on money?”

Su You’s eyes light up. “Mr. Gu, as long as you pay enough, I can be even more short on money!”

Then one day, Gu Tingye’s identity as the richest man in the country is exposed.

Su You packs her bags in the middle of the night, ready to run.

Gu Tingye corners her against the wall and hands her a black card with no spending limit. “Honey, I’ll put my trillion-yuan fortune under your control. Are you still running?”

Su You snatches the card. “You should’ve said so sooner. What a generous boss!”
